| Ken Tremblay, Colorado program manager, developed a Housing Fair for low-income Hispanics living in a mobile home park in Fort Collins. The Fair was part of a service learning component of the CSU course Housing Values in America. Posters were created by students focusing on safety issues (such as dead bolt locks, exterior lighting, and blocking a glass sliding door). Other posters focused on inspection items to use when searching for a home to buy and ideas on what to do afterwards-moving, decorating, landscaping, and record-keeping. The all-day Fair was held in the park, offering free snacks and beverages.
